I love the Ward Choir.
I am learning about Ward Choir the fun way…with a baton. Sunday in our rehearsal, we continued work on “Faith of Our Fathers Living Still” from Hymnal Plus, Book 3. It is surprisingly easy. I am learning more about my weaknesses as a conductor. I am not at all consistent with my tempos, and my actual baton work is only exporative. I would like to be more effective at helping invite the Spirit.
At JMC today, we have had a meeting with Roger Hoffman about a wonderful program idea for children called “Stories of Jesus”. I started the day at 4:48 a.m. (can’t sleep well but am improving), and finished a seven page piece proof for David Glen Hatch’s new book “Favorite LDS Piano Solos”, Book 4 before 8:00 a.m. This afternoon, I have been out of the office “seeing to other investments”, and talking on the phone with Henry Leavitt in Mesa Arizona about new discoveries in health.
Weather in Orem today is absolutely gorgeous! Skies are fair and thermostat is about 65°.
