I drove to Salt Lake City this morning to meet with Robert Cundick. We sent a piece of his to the printer this afternoon; an organ solo based on Families Can Be Together Forever. It was commissioned for a funeral a few weeks ago and was recorded by Larry Blackburn for our demo. Dr. Cundick is still very active. He was off at 10:00 a.m. to consult on a major recording today.

Weather is still hot—95° F. this afternoon in Orem, though the temperature this morning hinted that Autumn may be over the horizon.
Our office is busy.  Katie Stuart is back in our shipping department after a Summer at home in California. Meridith has taken a permanent place upstairs in Editorial until heading back to BYUI for Fall semester in a couple of weeks. She is archiving digitized editions of our “Back List”. Eventually our entire library will be accessible from www.jackmanmusicexpress.com. Observing those old editions coming back to life is an Andante mia down Deja Vu Avenue.

Chesbro Music Co. is hosting a Jackman Choral Workshop In Rexburg on September 6 starting at 9:30 a.m.—two hours of new Christmas music. The accompanist will be Rebecca Parkinson. It should be fun.
