It’s interesting working on the internet. What a blessing it is! We are able to get so much work done because of the technology. This morning I did a quick revision of #00833 Gratitude Medley, by Bonnie Egbert. I basically just gave it a new cover, then ordered a new printing, and posted it up on JackmanMusicExpress.com for everybody to download.
This afternoon was both a pleasure and a challenge. I am engraving Jim Kasen’s piece for women’s chorus that was performed in the Relief Society session of General Conference, the majestic #00366 Rejoice, the Lord Is King. It will be up on JMExpress by tomorrow afternoon, just as soon as we can make our final corrections. Printed editions will be out on the 29th of October.
Meridith—in New York today
Do you know my youngest daughter, Meridith? She is a English major senior in college now. She was up before 5:00 a.m. today to catch a plane to New York City where is interviewing for an internship with several major publishers. She is a true Jackman. She made sure to reserve a ticket for a Broadway show while was there. (Jackmans love live theater and FOOD!) Meridith has seen live stage works in Salt Lake, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and London—and all before she was 20!
