This morning I finished orchestrating a portion of just under one third of A. Laurence Lyon’s Christmas Is a Time of Joy, a grand medley for choir and orchestra. I had to exercise a firm mental stop to the process by 1:30 p.m. so that I could go home for lunch—I was so firmly engaged.
After lunch I assembled Holy Night When Christ Was Born (#01269) for reprint and download, then made another edition of T. Chemain Evans’ Flute solo medley The First Noel/Away in a Manger, finishing at 6:57 p.m. Posting this last work to jackmanmusicexpress.com for download and rendering physical art masters for our print-on-demand department brought an end to my work day.
