Jackman Music Corporation is a Utah-based music publishing company specializing in printed LDS sheet music. First established in 1975, Jackman Music has since grown to become the leading publisher of LDS print music, publishing over 1800 individual titles for choir, vocal, organ, piano, oratorio, and instrumental. Jackman Music owns and publishes under twelve distinct trademarks, each specific to the style and type of the piece:

  • Deseret Publishing Company — choral classics founded by Lowell M. Durham and his family
  • Palmer Publishing Co. — choral works founded by Wanda West Palmer
  • Pioneer Music Press — works for festivals and observances founded by Lorin F. Wheelwright
  • Sonos ® – art-oriented works founded by Merrill Bradshaw, K. Newell Dayley, Orrin G.Hatch, Robert P. Manookin, James A. Mason, and Reid Nibley

Our mission is threefold: first, to encourage music development in LDS units and families; second, to instigate the creative expression of LDS composers and writers; and third, to provide wholesome employment for our families.
