It begins in the key of F with a peaceful piano introduction, which moves into a flowing underscore as the soloist enters with the simple melody. The second verse begins with a transition to the key of D flat and the accompaniment adds intensity as the solo line moves with expression. The accompaniment then transitions back into the key of F and the solo line moves into the higher register with exquisite embellishment, then diminishes and slows to end with a soft flourish.
