Rise Up, O Youth of God is a powerful musical number speaking of the responsibility of youth and who they are. The strength of text and music, coupled with sections of flowing melody, makes this a motivating number for youth programs, i.e. a seminary theme song, a focus for firesides and/or special programs and presentations. Those who sing it will find it going over and over in their minds which helps create an increased desire to serve God.
