A calming organ accompaniment sets the mood for the message contained in this hymn. Verse 1 is unison and creates a unifying feeling. Verse 3 is a baritone or contralto solo with choir accompaniment. This arrangement is also successful when used as a combined choir and congregational number. Congregation sings verses 1 and 3 in unison and the choir sings verses 2, 3, and 4 as written.
